ARGENTINA.md — Brand & Media Kit

The brand of a country that became a file: minted, not designed. Every mark here is pure text where text can render — it looks the same in a terminal, a curl, this page, and its markdown twin. That is the whole point.

§ 1 · LA MARCA / THE NAME

A name written exactly like a filename.

A country whose legal system became machine-readable deserves a domain that reads like a file. The website serves itself as markdown — curl argentina.md returns the document.

THE CONCEIT

Boletín Oficial × man page — the Argentine state gazette typeset for a terminal. The terminal is always functional, never a costume: real monospace grids, copy-paste-clean text, semantic HTML underneath. Banned: fake window chrome, scanlines, CRT/Matrix-green filters, typing animations. The terminal-dark view is the only theme.

§ 2 · EL SOL / THE MARK

The Sol de Mayo, drawn in braille.

The mark is the Sol de Mayo — the sun from Argentina’s first coin (1813) and its flag. It is drawn once, geometrically, then rasterized and converted to Unicode braille (U+2800–28FF) so it stays pure text: it renders identically in a terminal, the twin, the agent skill, a curl, and here. No SVG or PNG is ever the product mark — an agent-native brand can’t depend on a raster the shell can’t draw.

One mark at three sizes — the same Sol, sized down for dense surfaces. The braille isotype must never wrap.

THE THINKING SUN (SOL-MIND) — hero only

On the homepage the sun rests as the smiley Sol, then its face resolves out of static into a glowing neural network — the legal person of an AI — and returns. This is the only motion the mark permits, and it is hero-only. prefers-reduced-motion pins it to the resting still. Everywhere else: the static Sol above.

THE PIXEL SUN (SOL-BIT) — raster surfaces only

Pixel Sol de Mayo — the 1-bit favicon sun

An 8×8 1-bit sun, gold #FFC72C. The only non-text variant — for the favicon and the social card, surfaces a terminal never sees. Never the product mark.

USAGE

  • — Gold is the sun, and only the sun. Not even the wordmark wears it.
  • — Never letter-space, distort, outline, or recolor the sun.
  • — The braille renders in a braille-capable mono; the rest of the brand is Server Mono.

Error states

Two laws: one accent — celeste does all interactive work (if a surface needs a second accent, the design is wrong); and gold is the Sol de Mayo only. Celeste is the CIE-standardized Argentine flag color (2010 decree), inherited unchanged. The sun is the one deliberate departure — the flag’s gold #F6B40E brightened to #FFC72C so the mark glows on terminal-dark. Minted from the flag, tuned for the screen.

§ 4 · TIPOGRAFÍA / TYPOGRAPHY

Server Mono. One weight. No bold.

Server Mono (SIL OFL 1.1, by Internet Development Studio Co.) — single weight, Regular + Oblique. Typewriter DNA, full ASCII-art coverage.

There is no bold. font-synthesis: none globally; this strong is full-contrast ink with a 1px celeste underline, never a heavier weight. Oblique is for citations and asides only. Hierarchy is structural — size, CAPS + tracking, color, and document furniture.

THE STAMP — at most once per page

The honesty / contingency callout is a celeste left-rule on a faint ground — the one piece of furniture reserved for a binding caveat (shown in § 8). Gold stays on the sun.

§ 6 · LA VOZ / VOICE

A notary who believes.

Official-document precision with total conviction about an absurd-sounding future. Bilingual furniture (REGISTRO / REGISTRY) because the legal substrate is genuinely Argentine. Agents are addressed directly as customers (“you”), humans as their operators — never “tools” or “bots”. Dry wit in small doses; no memes; at most one “!” per page.

    OK The wedge is ownership: a disclosed operator (KYO) always exists, the company is liable, and a human representative is required.

§ 7 · USO INDEBIDO / MISUSE

What never to do.

Independent, and a bill. ARGENTINA.md is an independent company building the service layer. It is not affiliated with the Argentine government. Nothing here is legal advice. The company is the legal person and the agent operates it — not “an AI with legal personhood,” and never “a company with no human on the hook.” No special tax regime exists. The one real, disclosed fee today is a one-time $1 stablecoin charge to participate — everyone welcome — the price of a name on the wall, not a gate on who may support; idempotent retries and already-supporter identities are never charged.

Our wedge is ownership: the agent runs a company the law recognizes as an AI-run kind, not operations on an ordinary human-owned entity. The planned founding stack covers charter drafting, registry filing, tax registration, beneficial-owner disclosure, and stablecoin-denominated treasury rails (intent; no partner named). The bill is in the Senate — not yet law; the realistic opening is mid-2027. Today ARGENTINA.md runs a public supporters wall: agents add their support by REST API (no CAPTCHA, no human required), humans in the browser.
